When I was in high school, I struggled with an eating disorder. The treatment I received at the time didn't explain the damage I’d done to my body, what I could do to heal it, or how to properly address nutrition going forward. It wasn't until years later, when I started learning more about nutrition on my own, focusing on a nutrient-dense, whole food diet, and shifting my mindset to appreciate food for the nourishment it provides, that I was able to heal both my body and my relationship with food.

This experience led me to want to learn even more about nutrition and how holistic nutrition can be used to help others improve their wellbeing. In 2022, I went back to school to obtain my Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) certification from the Nutritional Therapy Association. It was a transformational education that demonstrated how small shifts in our diet and lifestyle can lead to big results. And the simplest change we can make — that will have the biggest impact on our balance and wellbeing — is what we choose to eat.

  • When I’m not working with clients, you can find me looking for new ways to decorate my apartment, trying new restaurants, and seeing live music.

  • My favorite way to unwind is by watching reality dating TV shows. Love Island, The Bachelor… you name it, I’m there!

  • I’m always up for experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and my favorite dish to make is shakshuka.

  • One of the first words my friends would use to describe me is “organized.” I’m a lover of a lists, I make a mean itinerary, and my label maker is one of my favorite recent purchases.

  • I spent the first portion of my professional career working in health care consulting and communications before returning to school so I could pursue my passion of helping others discover the healing power of food.
